CAUTION!!! DANGER AHEAD!!!
Okay, so maybe I’m overreacting just a bit, but maybe not.
After a lifetime of obesity, I have finally reached and maintained, for several months, the status of “normal”. I feel good. Really good. And I don’t hate myself anymore. It’s nice to finally feel like I am in control of what goes into my mouth instead of feeling like I am being controlled by food. Well, it was nice, until I ran out of my usual brand of “healthy” crackers and had to buy these instead.
They look innocent enough. In fact, they look wholesome and yummy. Look, here’s the nutrition label and the list of ingredients. Now, I’m not an expert in nutrition but I know the difference between a food and a chemical. I know that it’s not good to eat a bunch of sugar or a ton of salt. I am careful about how much or which types of fat I consume. With that in mind, this label still looks pretty good to me.
Did you notice how many times the word “organic” appears? That’s a good thing. Do you recognize the names of the other ingredients, mostly seeds, and seasonings? That’s another good thing.
So then, why am I complaining?
I’m glad you asked! The problem with these crackers is that they taste good. I mean, really good! They are so good that I have completely lost control of what’s going in my mouth!
Imagine a light, crispy corn chip covered in delectable sour cream and onion flavored seasoning. The seasoning is so well-balanced that it does not set off the “Ugh! Too much sugar!” alarm or the “Yuck! These are too salty!” alarm. They are perfect. Undeniably perfect.
I won’t tell you how many times I paused while writing this short, little article to have just a few more of them.
Where to buy them
I am an affiliate marketer. It would be so easy for me to put a link below and send you to Amazon to order some for yourself. I might even make a few pennies if you did. But I don’t want to compromise your self-control and jeopardize your health.
What’s that you say? Do you think you can handle it? Okay, well, I warned you.
DON’T CLICK THE LINK!!!
Also, available at Costco.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 🙂
